Happy Birthday Dusty!

Dusty celebrated her 19th birthday on July 8th.  Where does the time go?  It seems like only a short time ago she was a feisty five year old and now she’s a mature lady of nineteen. 

Dusty is a smart yet very opinionated mare with lots of talent. She will absolutely not put up with anything that doesn’t feel right to her.  We’ve had our ups and downs over the years but it’s always been interesting and mostly lots of fun.  Thank you Dusty for always making me ride with my head and my heart.

    This may be a second comment - it looked like the previous one went into a black hole! I want to make sure Dusty gets my birthday wishes - she's a gorgeous mare and defying the years. And thanks for the wonderful slide show - I loved seeing all the images of Dusty on her beautiful farm. She enhances every shot! :)

    Happy Birthday Dusty!!! 19?? Surely not. Looking good, pretty lady. Love the first picture, and the caption :) "She will absolutely not put up with anything that doesn't feel right to her" - that is exactly what I need to do in my life! Thank you, Dusty, for the life lesson.

      Thanks! She got lots of treats and I think her life is basically a party everyday. She's got the all you can eat buffet in the pastures, treats, friends and very little work.
