Saving one dog will not change the world,
but surely for that one dog, the world will change forever.
Great pictures. I can't believe how big Gunnar is!! So cute. Jealous that you can see dirt and grass at your place!! We had a bit of a heat wave here, too; -4C. It was fantastic. Spring is around the corner!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Wolfie,
DeleteI'm afraid that's not grass and dirt it's just old hay and some horse poop. The rest of the farm is still under snow. But it is starting to melt. Yeah!
Oh my goodness Gunnar is adorable!!! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks. He is pretty cute.
DeleteThat Gunnar is positively adorable. We are not seeing any ground yet, but today we have just hit 40 degrees. Bring it on!
ReplyDeleteWe hit 43 so far! Yeah!
ReplyDeleteGreat little story there. At least you got some action shots. Everybody was just standing around here. I think the Boys are even more tired of this weather than I am.
ReplyDeleteGunner is still adorable and will stay that way no matter how big he gets.
The herd seems to come to life when there are people close to a fence. My guess is they're looking for treats. I know they're as tired of this weather as we are. Gunnar is adorable and I think he has the personality of always being mischievous. That should keep everyone on their toes.
Deleteso cute!!! hope you're right about spring being on its way :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! Well time marches on so Spring has to get here sooner or later right.
DeleteGunnar is adorable!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteCute pup! We're (finally) back to normal temps this week - it was a hard February.
ReplyDeleteI agree it was a very hard month. Glad we're all getting a little warmer.
DeleteCuteness! Enjoy the warm-up, I sure am!
ReplyDeleteThe melting has started here. So many icicles falling off the eaves. Enjoying the warmth finally.
DeleteIt's always fun to see photos of your herd and my goodness what a cute pup! I admit I gasped when I saw the snow heaped against your barn. You have to be happy spring is on its way!!
ReplyDeleteHaving a puppy around again is a lot of fun. He's so sweet.
DeleteThe snow is ridiculous this year. I can't wait until it melts!
Love that quote because it just says it all. Kinda like changing the world, one kindness at a time. So, so happy to see your snow is melting, and you've got blue skies!! Whoohoo!! Gunnar has grown a lot and he's just so adorable. Can't help but smile watching him. All your pics made me smile this morning - thanks!
ReplyDeleteThanks Lorie, I'm glad he made you smile. He has that way about him, he's such a happy little guy.
DeleteSuch wonderful pictures!!
ReplyDeleteI noticed your fencing... is that pvc or metal? Very pretty &, I imagine, low to no maintenance?
We have pole corrals and then smoothe wire around the pasture; every year I have to paint all the wooden bits with used oil (cheaper than pain & close to hand, turns out a nice black & horses don't ever chew on it too much.

Hi,
DeleteThe fencing is pvc and easy to care for. The worst thing is how dirty it gets and it needs to be power washed every other year which is a big job. They have also broken some of the boards this year so they will need to be replaced. Other than that it's a decent fence material.
Isn't the warmer weather this week just the best thing ever?!! Great photos!
ReplyDeleteI'm loving the warmer temps this week too!
DeleteWow! That is a HUGE amount of snow!! You guys definitely deserve spring and the warmer temps. Love the photos of the herd, as always, but adore the ones with Gunnar, he is way too cute. And love the quote, very touching and beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHi Joy
DeleteIt's starting to melt and will be gone soon. I hope!
SO much SNOW!
ReplyDeleteYou must be really sick of it. Horses look great and the puppy... well puppies are always adorable!
Thank goodness the snow is starting to melt. We are sick of it.
DeleteOh my gosh so cute! I love horses during the winter they are adorable!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos. :)
