Two 98.2-foot (30 meters) high
horse heads have just been completed in Scotland. They call them The Kelpies, and I think they are
magnificent. I’d love to go and visit
them one day. Scotland is
very proud of their history with horses and honored them with these sculptures.
There are external sites on the above link that show the construction and history of
The Kelpies. I found a lot of the information on how they were built fascinating.
There are more pictures too. If you’re at all interested click on the link for more information.
Until next time
Quote for Today
Wherever man has left his footprint in the long
ascent from barbarism to civilization we will find the hoof print of the
horse beside it.
