THIS is why this country is so
great...the wonderful, creative,
THINKING people of this nation...gotta love
'em!
For all of us who think that
there are too many rules...or just like a
chuckle. The
farmer was denied a
permit to build a horse shelter. So he builds a giant ‘
Table and Chairs’,
which don't need a permit.
I LOVE THIS!
Until next time
I had seen this before, as an Art Installation. i didn't know the story behind it. Gotta love it, either way.
ReplyDeleteWe have friends who were denied a building permit, for a restaurant in France. They took the whole thing underground and called it The Dungeon. Planted a garden overhead. There's always a way, it seems.
Wow, that looks amazing!

I'd like one of those 'tables' over my travel trailer, please.
ReplyDelete- The Equestrian Vagabond
Brilliant! He could probably go into business making stuff like that for others in the same boat. Ha ha!
ReplyDeleteAmen!! Like my dad used to say..."there's more than one way to skin a cat!". Not my choice of words, but it fits!! Love it!
ReplyDeleteI've Got This Photo On My Phone!
ReplyDeleteYou Get Em Farmer...Horses Need Their Shade..
I didn't know this had already been around. It's the first tie I'd seen it. It was sent to me in an email and I thought it was interesting enough to share.
DeleteI've seen it on FB - but love seeing it again. What a great way to bypass a stupid rule!
ReplyDeleteI love it!! Necessity really does bring out creativity, doesn't it.
ReplyDeleteSaw this somewhere before and I LOVE it!!
ReplyDeleteI am actually not 100% sure this IS from America. I recall reading about it a long time ago, and I really thought it was in England.....
ReplyDeleteThe county would not allow him a building permit to put up a run in shelter, so he built a table & chairs as "art work" instead.... something like that.
It's great, though either way.
Oops. Guess I should have checked it out better. I received it in an email and thought I'd share it. Thanks for the info.
