Even though we had a little snow flurry yesterday for Easter this picture tells me it's definitely the beginning of Spring. Longer days are welcome. Now if it would just warm up a bit that would complete the whole "Spring has arrived" scenario.

"Um, excuse me, I think you missed some spots!" |
|
" That's better " |

And there's plenty more where that came from. |
Not looking forward to this job.
NEXT! Step right up...

Quote for Today
Grooming: the process by which the dirt on the horse is transferred to the groom.
Your stalls are BEAUTIFUL. LOVE LOVE LOVE.
ReplyDeleteI think grey hair is the stickiest - I come home covered with it from Missy. And then there's more brown hair where that came from . . . but at least it means spring is finally here!
ReplyDeleteThat looks all too familiar. It's amazing how you can grrom "forever' and the hair still just keeps coming out. Piles and piles of it.
ReplyDeleteThis season, I've tried spraying myself with non-static laundry spray before de-hairing sessions. It improves the experience for the groomer. :D
ReplyDeleteSpring hair shedding always amazes me. For us Nemo's is the worst. He starts early and has the finest white hair that floats and gets in places hair shouldn't go...oh well, they are well worth it. Just think of the upper body strength we are building, and people say riding/caring for horses isn't considered a workout...
ReplyDeleteLOL at your "next" one - you have your work cut out for you! I know you're ready for longer days and no white stuff falling from the sky. Hang in there. Can't wait to see your photos where everything is GREEN!
ReplyDeletesoooo much hair! good luck and hope it warms up soon!
ReplyDeleteGood grief! I'm starting to think that Donny and Ladde are brothers...have fun grooming that one! :)
ReplyDeleteI have to use the mounting block to reach Lad's butt top, and if I don't want to inhale much of what I'm scraping off. Ack - poop dust! Your quote is just about perfect I'd say. Yay for spring!!!
Hair season. One of the best markers of Spring. Hope it warms up for you soon!
ReplyDeleteSpring certainly is long overdue for you, I'd say. Here's hoping she's on her way and things start to warm up. Madam Dusty looking gorgeous as always. LOVE the 'WHAT?' pic - speaks volumes! :) And love the quote - I shall pass that one on to Liam ;)
ReplyDeleteYes, Dusty is lookin' real good. I do believe you are going to be busy for a few days. I'm hoping that tomorrow will be the beginning of some better weather in our neck of the woods so I can do the same to my horses.
ReplyDeleteThere is no end to hair and dirt, we should probably just embrace it and make life easier for ourselves, you know, be a horse, or a dog for that matter!
