THINGS TO DO BEFORE YOU GET TOO OLD!

Damn, Not A Single One Of These Is On My Bucket List!

Standing on The Edgewalk in Toronto

Cliff Camping

Jumping on the Trolltunga rock in Norway.

 Ice climbing a frozen waterfall.

Sitting on the Trolltunga rock in Norway.

Extreme kayaking at Victoria Falls.

Glacier-boarding anywhere.

 Climbing Redwoods.

Biking on the Cliffs of Moher.

Cycling in Norway.

Diving 30 meters through a rock monolith in Portugal.

Sky-walking on Mount Nimbus in Canada.

 Walking over a crevice.

 Just having a look around.

Extreme picnicking.

 Sky-walking in the Alps

Tree camping in Germany

 Rock climbing in South Africa

 Extreme skiing in Wyoming

Sitting around at Yosemite
And some people have actually told me I'm crazy for riding horses!

Until next time

  1. My stomach did about a hundred flip flops. Nope, I have no desire to do any of those. The pictures a pretty neat though. I'll take riding a horse any day over that too.

    1. I got this in an email and was wondering who took the pictures. I hope it was someone with a very powerful zoom lens!

  2. Not a single one of those things is on my bucket list either. EEEK! I hate heights. My 17h TB is about the max for me. I don't even like ladders.

    1. I'm not afraid of heights, just falling from them.

  3. That gives me a stomach ache. I'll stick to horses and an empty bucket.

    1. Yeah, I'd say my bucket is pretty much empty too.

    1. I personally think they are a little crazy to take chances like that.

  5. I might tackle sky walking on Mt. Nimbus. and that's it for me. Who the heck took all those photos and where were they?

    1. I have no idea who took those pictures but I do know it wasn't me!

  6. The common theme seems to be heights - and I'm scared of heights - so none of that for me.

    1. I think the common theme might be slightly crazy.

  7. Beautiful pictures, but I'm baffled as to why that man in the extreme picnic photo is wearing women's sandals with heels. Also, those cliff campers better make dang sure that they don't sleepwalk.

    1. Now I have to go back and look at that photo. Sleepwalking wouldn't be good but I was wondering about a bathroom run in the middle of the night?

    1. Oh, come on Martine, you're always hiking in the mountains. Didn't you ever feel the need to dangle off the side of one!

  10. I would bet some of these were a result of Photoshop. Some just don't look physically possible, but maybe all of these are real?? I am not into thrill seeking. I would even be scared to photograph them from a plane, let alone do any of them!!

  11. I don't think they're photo shopped but I wouldn't be behind the camera for them either.

  12. Give me a ride on the Big Bay any day of the week! For that matter, any day of my entire life! Crazy people!!!

    1. I'm with you Billie. I'd rather be on a galloping horse over a huge jump than do any one of these crazy adventures.

  13. These people should count themselves lucky to 'get old'.

  14. Fun fact: I have climbed a frozen waterfall, once. It has to be really cold for a long time for the ice to get hard enough. Nothing like worrying that the ice you're climbing will fall out from under you at any time.

  16. I've been to the Cliffs of Mohr! And stood a healthy, respectable distance from the edge. =-)
