Aawww, poor loves ... the first 3 pix could be interchangeable, they've all got the same 'bored stiff' expressions *lol* Love the quote :D
For some weird reason known only to 'blogspot' I haven't been able to access your last few posts, which has been highly irritating, especially as the titles sound interesting. Hope you & your family have been keeping well and safe.
They may be bored (like most of us), but they look fuzzy, fat and mostly content to me! Could be worse. I think we're all ready for some warmer and longer days. It's actually a little bit light when I'm driving home from work now!! *happy dance* :)
Cute! They are wondering what you are doing!! my horse often has the same look like lady your taking my picture again hehehe ...looks cold brrrrrr ~Love Heather
Hi C, Thanks. We think they're a handsome herd. Sami is so sweet and adorable and just loves to have attention. Val wouldn't be looking for a little buddy would he?
We are currently battening down the hatches for a blizzard. As long as the generator works we should be okay. Thanks for the good thoughts. I'll email you about Sami.
Love seeing the herd in winter. We had such a warm day today and the ground has dried out so that it's almost hard to remember I was dealing with ice and blankets and wet mush a week ago!
Your herd may look bored but I am sure there is action aplenty going on there, if nothing else, that lady with the camera. I would not trade this cold for all the heat and humidity in the south most of the year but would not mind more sun breaking through the cloudy skies.
Hi Val, Winter is boring. Except maybe for today. We're really getting blasted with this blizzard Nemo. I was wondering when we started naming snow storms. Guess I'm really bored too.
Ha - your horses are Bored, our horses are BORING. I cannot for the life of me get them to go up the canyon. they sometimes will follow me to the open green gate... then they turn around and run back to the house and stand around and watch me walk back. i think they've seen too many errant scary cows up the canyon this winter! - The Equestrian Vagabond
It's great to see some of your horses, even if they are bored. But I bet if we asked them, they would say they weren't really all that bored....just waiting for their next meal. lol!
We've not had hardly any snow this year which is very strange for us, especially since it seems to be snowing just about everywhere else.
Thanks for asking. We made out okay at the farm only about 8-10 inches which are cleared from the driveways and walks already. Luckily, we never lost power which is a plus because of the automatic waterers. The generators were set to go but we didn't need them. Where I actually live we got 28-30 inches and are still digging out but didn't lose power here either.
Play with me! No, play with me! No, brush me! No, give me another carrot! Yes, I know all about bored horses. Anybody chewing any wood yet? Siete started on the back door of her stall until I put Tabasco sauce on it.
Nobody's been chewing on anything around here but their haynets. They were amused by the new snowfall, well, for about five minutes. Now they're back to stuffing themselves with hay.
Love the blog, I live in Maine and have 6 feet of snow..my horse is bored a little bit, 99% of horses love cold weather and would rather stand around and eat good hay:)

It's so nice of you to take the time to visit. I appreciate your stopping by and commenting on what I've written. Even though I sometimes don't have the time to reply to each comment, I do enjoy reading them.

Hi Joy,
DeleteThey are bored but they'll get over it. Wonder why you can't access the other posts? Blogger drives me nuts too.

ReplyDeleteHi Lorie,
DeleteFat, fuzzy and content pretty much describes the whole herd.
Bored, or just waiting out the winter?
ReplyDeleteHi Martine,
DeleteI think we are all waiting out the winter at this point.
Cute! They are wondering what you are doing!! my horse often has the same look like lady your taking my picture again hehehe ...looks cold brrrrrr ~Love Heather
ReplyDeleteHi Heather,
DeleteIt has been very cold lately. They all look at me like I'm crazy when I try to take their picture!
What a drag for them. So different from having their heads down when there's grass.
ReplyDeleteHi Lori,
DeleteI'm sure they'd rather be grazing but they play musical hay nets all day instead.
Bored, but adorable. They look great despite the weather.
ReplyDeleteYou have a lot more snow than we do.
Hi Jean,
DeleteWe don't have much snow really. The problem is it never leaves because its so cold.
You have such a handsome herd. They're all lookers, but I never realized how striking Sami is. :D
ReplyDeleteHi C,
DeleteThanks. We think they're a handsome herd. Sami is so sweet and adorable and just loves to have attention. Val wouldn't be looking for a little buddy would he?
Not actively, but tell me more. :D
DeleteOh, and take care - looks like ya'll are expecting some weather!

ReplyDeleteHi Billie,
DeleteI hear we may be in for a snowstorm this weekend and colder temps. Glad you're having some decent weather though.

ReplyDeleteHi d.j.,
DeleteA little sun would be nice. I don't mind the cold and prefer it to heat and humidity and bugs myself.
They are all so beautiful....
ReplyDeleteThanks Wolfie!
ReplyDeleteWinter really is boring. After work there is still not enough daylight to ride, which has gotten really old!

Hi Merri,
DeleteI enjoyed your post about you and Jose steering those cows home recently. At least you managed to get one ride in!
We should take pictures of ourselves. "The Bored Horse Women of February".
ReplyDeleteGood shots!
Hi Tammy,

How did you make out in the storm?

Great photos of them all. Really nice to see them. I also love the white background - you may not, but snow is a rare novelty for us over here.
ReplyDeleteMáire
Hi Maire,
DeleteIf you like that background from last week you'd love the one after the blizzard this week!
Glad you didn't lose power!
ReplyDeleteIs Mellon shedding out on his face?
Hi Debi,
DeleteGlad we didn't either. Hope you are alright where you are too. I don't think Mellon is shedding on his face, must be the angle of the photo.
