It’s Good To Be Home

"Juno Beach" - Jupiter, Florida
We were away for a little over a week in Florida.  As much as it’s good to go away for a bit to the warmer weather it’s always nice to come home.

Here are a few pictures I took and thought I’d share with you.  Because everyone is always dying to see someone else’s vacation pictures…

" Juno Beach"   on the Ocean
And so the alligator came out and asked "Hey, who hit me on the head with a golf ball!"
I can honestly say I've never seen a sign saying this before. (on the way to Marcos Island)
" Marcos Island" on the Gulf

The beach had lots of shells

View from the room

Love the way the water is always changing color

Beautiful Sunset

  1. Lovely photos... but I think I'd probably just open up a new package of golfballs! :-p

    1. Most who play golf do just that and don't risk losing a hand...or more!

  2. Very beautiful. Love the sunset over the ocean. Florida has the most amazing aqua blue water. I haven't been there for a few years, maybe it's time to return. <3

  4. Looks like a wonderful getaway! Beautiful pictures and weather too. I'm always amazed at seeing ocean pics of the Atlantic because the ocean is so much calmer than ours, just gentle waves lapping at the shore, where ours crashes onto the beach almost continuously and has a roar that can be almost deafening. Guess that's why you can find so many shells, ours are usually dashed to bits. So glad you got to get away from it all for a while, and enjoy coming home.

    1. The ocean was calm the day I went but when the wind is up its waves are crashing and loud too. The shells were on the Gulf side. That was calm and pretty.

  7. So happy you got sunshine and gorgeous water for a midwinter break! The photos are gorgeous - absolutely cheered me up on this crazy NC weather day. 80 degrees yesterday, ending with thunderstorms, now today it's 44. So enjoyed taking a little virtual trip to the beach just now!!

    1. Thanks Billie. After the crazy weather this winter it was nice to see some color instead of drab gray all the time.

    1. I don't play golf so I was nowhere near it. My husband took the picture when he was playing. They're all over the golf courses down there and that's why nobody goes after a ball in the water!

  9. So happy to hear you got away for such a great break :) Love the photos, can almost smell the salty air. The colours are stunning, especially the so blue sky and gorgeous sunset. Interesting panther crossing sign.
Thanks for sharing, just what I need to see today; it's gloomy and overcast here after ridiculous amounts of rain.
