Taking A Break

This is what the herd looks like when kids are standing at the fence with treats. "Don't leave- we're coming in"

This is what the herd looks like when the treats are gone. A fickle bunch!

Hi everyone.  Seems it’s that time of year again when there is so much work to do not only around the farm but with the house too.  Between gardening, painting jumps and working with the horses consistently, throw in family commitments and there just doesn’t seem to be enough time to fit it all in day to day.  So I’m taking a break from blogging or at least putting up posts.

I’m definitely going to keep visiting you when I can and keep up to date with you and your horses.  So unless something earth shattering or really interesting comes up to post about I’ll be MIA for a while.

Until next time
Quote for Today
Life is good; a horse makes it better!

  1. It can be hard sometimes to keep up with blogging, especially in the summer when there are so many things to do! Enjoy your break and I'll look forward to your news when you come back.

Love the pix - a fickle bunch indeed!

Wishing you a productive break :D

  4. That's some look with the grazing muzzle. I'd have trouble with the guilt getting a gaze like that. LOL I'm not doing great at keeping up but will be here when you get back. Enjoy your break....if that's what you're calling all that work. LOL

  6. i've been bad about keeping up, too :-\ but everyone is entitled to a break, especially when the weather gets good. the internet isn't going anywhere, and we can keep reading our favorite blogs in the meantime... when time permits :-)

  7. haha...you'll probably be back real soon! The day I said I was "taking my break" my pony got into the LMF performance grain (opened her stall) and almost killed herself. She didn't fully recover from her colic until yesterday--Mother's Day. I do hope for your sake though that you have no such drama!! Enjoy your horses and I'll be keeping watch for your next post.
